Catholic Weddings with a Bubble Exit

A grand exit from church is a joyful and classic tradition for a Catholic wedding ceremony! From a joy perspective, it’s one of the highest points of the day! There is so much love and happiness for the couple in the air; take advantage of it for with a grand church exit with bubbles!

Photographer Nikalya of Nikayla and Co shares her expertise on bubble exits.

“One of my favorite ways to have a grand church exit is with bubbles. Bubbles remind many of their childhood and don’t cause anyone to have to do a big clean up after the moment (plus the kids will definitely be paying attention to help out). For any church exit I recommend asking your guests to exit the church immediately following the Mass! When you process out (before everyone exits) hide away in a side area – this can give you a couple moments with your new spouse to soak up the vocation you just entered into, which is so special! Then once everyone is outside you are free to come out. Another perk of this is being able to get a photo with all of your guests on the steps of the church. Then the bridal party and families can enter back into the church for photos.”

“To get an a bubble exit without a lot of spacing in between the bubbles, use bubble *guns* instead of or in addition to little bubble wands. If you’re worried about the guns being an eyesore, just don’t. Everyone will be too focused on the couple’s grand exit to notice if there is a colorful toy gun in your hand. The sunlight and colors of everyone’s attire will reflect off the bubbles too and add pinks, blues, greens, or really any joyful color to the images.”
