Teagan and Thomas found me via a referral from another Catholic photographer friend. During our first meeting, they mentioned how they wanted their wedding to share “the gift of their faith” with guests and hope it made everyone “feel called to worship”. I knew in my heart these were my people.

Every detail of their day was designed to glorify the Lord, to point people to Heaven, and stir our hearts to worship. There was a moment post-communion where the whole cathedral was filled with song. The three of us really connected about allowing our work to glorify the Lord—whether in ministry, community, or art. We also bonded over being Green Bay Packer fans; the couple was so sweet to even save a cheese head for me to take home!

The day was such a delight to be a part of. The bridal party was nothing but pure, prayerful joy to be around. The priest was the pastor at my home parish so documenting the Mass was quite comfortable and he gave such a powerful homily. The way the day was laid out, we really enjoyed having the “Catholic Gap”. We went to the museum gardens near the city, our team and the bridal party had lunch and coffee, and then we got to the portraits.

The whole vibe of the wedding was a garden and it really felt like a glimmering garden in the midst of the city. Delicate floral, soft pinks, warm tones, the whole feel had something other-worldly about it.

It was such a smooth day with the best vendor team, too. The couple got to enjoy cocktail hour and I actually knew many of the guests so it made for such a fun reception. Honestly, we thought we were going to fall into the floor below because the dance floor was shaking! It was such a joy-filled day throughout every moment.

The florals throughout were sweet and gorgeous, and they had so many Catholic details—it’s clear they really cared about each of their guests. Teagan and Thomas are the kind of people that when you talk to them, you can truly tell they want to get to know you, so they had these amazing relationships with everyone at the wedding.

Their wedding Mass was probably the most notable thing about the day; after communion, the whole Church was full of song and praise and prayer—it was surreal to be a part of (and I definitely joined in because I had to edit out my own voice in my camera from the video footage!).

Congratulations Teagan and Thomas!
