You are more than your relationship status.

This season of engagement is full of wonder, excitement, and even some stress as you go through planning and preparing for all of the changes and transitions that are ahead. Marriage is not the ultimate goal of life, but rather an assist on the journey you’ve already been on. I had to learn this lesson the hard way and I want to share my story with you in my book Single Truth.

God loves you so much and works all things in your life for your good. I’ve been a licensed marriage and family therapist for about a decade now and I want to encourage you to never hesitate about seeking therapy. You don’t have to have “issues” to speak with a counselor. As a counselor, I may be the one you see in the chair in front of you but I try my best to let the Good Counselor work through me. The Holy Spirit knows you better than I do. As a Catholic therapist with degrees in both theology and marriage and family therapy, I am passionate about integrating my faith into my work with clients. I bring “faith to life and life to faith” everyday through my counseling, coaching, writing, and speaking. Like a puzzle, our stories are complex and made up of a variety of different pieces. We are not defined by one piece and yet we can get stuck in that belief. I want to help you see the whole picture more clearly so that you can share yourself fully with your fiancé.

I’m able to meet with you individually, with your fiancé (or spouse once you’re married), or with other family members. As an LMFT, I love welcoming anyone you would like in the room. We are a part of so many systems in our lives and the best way to work on communication is to have all parties in the room together so that there is greater understanding.

My practice is based in Indianapolis, IN, but I can meet virtually with clients in a number of states across the USA as my list of licensed states continues to increase. I also have created a Single Truth coaching program to explore how free, faithful, and fruitful you are in your life right now. I’m trained in SYMBIS/SYMBIS+, FOCUS/REFOCUS, PREPARE/ENRICH, and the Gottman Relationship Checkup. These are all practical ways to reflect on your strengths and challenges in your relationship.
