We’re Anna & John Paul.

Ten years ago, we were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend at Benedictine College. By the grace of God, we both ended up attending college in North Dakota the following year—and somehow, we also both landed jobs at the infamous Olive Garden. Working together in all aspects of life—from endless pasta bowls to late-night study sessions—we quickly became an inseparable team. We got married while still in college, walked through the challenges of infertility, and eventually welcomed our miracle baby toward the end of COVID.

Because of this, Anna developed a deeply precious bond with our son and wanted a job that would allow her to stay home with him while still helping provide for our family. She made the bold decision to leave her career in architecture in the year 2021 and take a leap of faith into creative work. Thankfully, that risk paid off. Together, we now run a thriving business offering wedding photography and videography.

At Romantic Sunday, we do things a little differently. We’re an authentically Catholic family who cherishes the sacrament of marriage and the true meaning of family. In a world that often feels upside down, we feel called to help rebuild traditional values—in a fun and joyful way. We don’t make cookie-cutter films… because let’s be honest, we don’t have a cookie-cutter relationship—and neither do you. While we deeply value tradition, we believe it can (and should) be blended with creativity, joy, and a whole lot of fun. Our work is a reflection of that: bold, emotional, timeless, and deeply personal.

We invite you—our amazing clients (please adopt us?)—to be genuinely you. Whether that means bursting into laughter, shedding a few happy tears (we won’t tell), or breaking out your best dance moves, we’re here for all of it.
