I have been in the photography business officially since late 2021, but I started off taking senior photos for all of my graduating friends in college in around 2015. God called me to be a missionary after college, and so I served with Saint Paul’s Outreach on college campuses in Minnesota and Florida for 5 years. After I moved back to Central Texas post-missionary life, I was working admin jobs but still felt the pull to pursue photography. The Holy Spirit gave me the courage I needed to start my Instagram account and create a website, and I’ve been on a beautiful journey of growth ever since! While I started off primarily photographing families and seniors, I have pivoted more to focusing on couples and weddings and I am so grateful I made the switch. I’m inspired by movies, analog media (vinyl records, books, photos shot on film), and the simple act of gathering around the table for a meal. Hospitality is a core virtue of my business, and I strive to bring intentionality and joy into all of my interactions before, during, and after the wedding day. Now, I view my business as the mission field that God has called me to, and I strive to serve my clients to the best of my ability. Capturing Catholic weddings is a particular joy of mine, and it is such an honor to bless my clients by capturing the beauty, reverence, and joy that unfolds on the day that they confer the Sacrament to one another.
