Hello! I’m Maria – Catholic wife, mother, and business owner. My husband Kris and I have 2 beautiful girls and we love LOVE! We are cheerleaders for life-long marriages rooted in Christ and volunteer for San Diego Catholic Engaged Encounter as retreat weekend presenters. I am also founder and chairperson of the San Diego Catholic Wedding Expo, a Diocesan sanctioned semi-annual event aimed at connecting Catholic couples with Catholic wedding vendors & ministries. I love being Catholic – the Eucharist, the sacraments, the rosary, lecio divina, the saints – being one small part of the Mystical Body of Christ is AMAZING!! I’m a stay-at-home mom and small business owner of an event floral LLC, Our Lady’s Roses Floral Designs. My daughter Kamila is blood transfusion dependent due to thalassemia, for which I am an advocate for blood donation and community education.

Our Lady’s Roses was established in 2021, from which I have always strived to share the love and light of Jesus with the world. As St. Paul shares in his first letter to the Corinthians, “whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God” (1 Cor 10:31). I truly view and operate this Catholic wedding florist business as an apostolate and give praise and glory to God for the opportunity to serve His people through it!
