Hey there! I’m Dominik, founder of Lovely Light Films. I started filming weddings shortly after my oldest sister was married – being a witness to the sacrament of holy matrimony left an impression on me that was hard to forget. I began shooting all types of weddings, but now I’m beginning to niche into Catholic films – and I couldn’t be more excited!

I love filming weddings since it allows me to create something that will take you back to day 1 of your journey together as husband and wife. What a once in a lifetime opportunity! What I wish with every wedding film I create, is that you reach for it in good times and in bad, to remind you of how you started and why. Telling your love story through a film is such an intimate and beautiful way to have your wedding documented. I do my best to dive into your story of how you got to where you are together – getting to know you on a personal level means capturing your wedding day through your eyes and creating a unique and personal film.

When I’m not filming a wedding, I love spending time with my siblings + nephews or on an adventure in God’s natural beauty. Whether it be cycling around Ottawa or sailing on a lake, I can’t get enough of this planet.
