Katherine & Nick’s Atlanta Cathedral Wedding

“When Katherine reached out to me, I got so excited because I’d known her family in middle school and knew they were awesome people. I ended up seeing her and Nicholas at a couple of other weddings I photographed, and they were so cute on the dance floor, flirting and busting out some killer ballroom. dance moves They had an elegant, classic wedding, with black tuxedos and a sage green & blue color palette for their July wedding.

“Throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding, they were really determined to focus on the Sacrament instead of the wedding day. During some of our planning meetings, we had some awesome chats about the beauty of marriage and actually got to go pretty deep, which I loved!”

Their Atlanta wedding day was smooth and easy, full of joy, nervous excitement, and so much love from family and friends!

Their Roswell Mill Club reception was classy and simple. The bride and groom chose to provide transportation to their guests between the church and venue, since there was 30-40 minutes of travel time in between, and it made things so easy for everyone, since parking and traffic can be crazy near the reception.

The father of the bride shared at the reception that he had been praying for his daughter’s husband for years on his rosary, and then he handed the rosary to the groom, which just made everyone cry included me!

One of the unique parts of their reception was a cigar bar on the back porch at RMC, an ode to the groom’s love for a good cigar. The night was wrapped up with a private last dance and a ribbon wand exit down the steps. They had a private last dance before their ribbon wand exit, which I lov for couples – it’s the perfect moment to reflect on the day and have a bit of closure in the space you worked hard to create.
