Hello! My name is Joseph Schopp, and I’m from Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. I’ve been taking photographs for about eight years, but I’ve been creating through different mediums my whole life.

I’m a lifelong Catholic and studied theology at Benedictine College. I understand the importance of your wedding day—and your vocation as a whole. I approach every wedding with respect for that reality and a focus on what’s most meaningful. Whether I’m photographing an elaborate mass in a cathedral or an intimate ceremony in a small parish, my goal is the same: to create images that feel genuine, timeless, and grounded.

During your wedding day, I do my best to blend in, bring a calm presence, and help things unfold naturally. I love capturing real, candid moments, but I also know how to pose couples in a way that feels relaxed and comfortable.
