Hey there! My name is Matea, and I am a cradle Catholic with a love for photography, iced coffee, musical theatre and crafting. I was born and raised in Hays, Kansas. I attended Fort Hays State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in General Communication. Currently I work in the Catholic Diocese of Salina as the Interim Communications Director. In this role I serve as the content manager for our social platforms and website. I am also the diocese videographer and photographer. It is a joy to share my love for the faith with the people of my diocese and beyond.

I have a passion for creativity, connection, building relationships & capturing moments/emotions that can tell a story. I feel God has given me a passion & talent that I can use to share His creation & love with others. I strive to do everything for the greater glory of God.
