My name is Matea and I was born and raised in a small town in Kansas, where my roots run deep and my love for people, stories, and faith first took shape. I graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and today, I have the joy of serving as the Communications Coordinator for the Catholic Diocese of Salina. In addition to my work for the Church, I’m also incredibly blessed to run my own photography business — a creative ministry that allows me to serve others by capturing the sacred beauty in their lives and relationships.

My photography style is rooted in my Catholic faith and dedicated to capturing authentic, grace-filled moments — the kind that speak to the heart and reflect the beauty of God’s creation. I strive to highlight the dignity, emotion, and connection present in every person and every scene.

I believe deeply that God gives us gifts for a reason. He’s placed in my heart a passion for creativity, connection, and storytelling — and I do this work with the desire to use those gifts for His greater glory. Every image I create is a small reflection of His love, His joy, and His presence in our lives. I’d be honored to help tell your story — through a lens of faith, beauty, and truth. Photography has been one of the greatest joys of my life — not just as a creative outlet, but as a way to truly see the beauty of Christ reflected in others. Each time I pick up my camera, I’m reminded that we are all made in the image of God. It’s such a gift to be able to freeze moments that speak of love, faith, and the sacredness of everyday life.
