Hello! I am Sam Mangieri. I am a husband of one, father of 5 (one in the kingdom). I started my company Fiat Films after my beloved nixed my initial idea for a company name: the Sacred Eye. She thought it didn’t have as much of a ring to it. Plus, she said: “You want the Blessed Mother to guide this thing”. Since then, I have tried to put not just my vocation, but also my occupation under her guidance.

Going on 6 years as a fulltime freelance filmmaker, I understand what it’s like for a couple to invest in the capture of their wedding. As a decidedly small business, I like to be the one to walk alongside my clients from the first conversation about their wedding day, to their reception of the final deliverables. Having served Catholic couples exclusively, and having spent time around liturgy every day for years as a former seminarian, I understand the Mass. I make it my chief aim to capture the Mass as the focal point of a couple’s wedding day. If I weren’t allowed to capture sacred moments, I would never have picked up a camera. As I lend my eye for beauty and my arsenal of equipment to a wedding shoot, the vision is delivered & almost always, expectations are exceeded.
