My approach to photographing a wedding is photojournalistic, which results in no two galleries being alike. I prefer to document the day as it happens, rather than posing and prompting every step of the way. I strive to capture each wedding day as a timeless and true-to-life representation of the relationship between the couple and the beauty of the sacrament of marriage. Being a Catholic photographer gives me the ability to convey the deeper significance of a wedding day through photography by being ready to capture the most important parts of the mass, and understanding that a wedding day is about much more than a party and a photo op. My work is for the bride and groom who envision classic, timeless, and true-to-life wedding photos, and who want lots of direction during portraits and family photos, with candid moments with their friends and family captured in an authentic way.

My #1 tip for my clients:
As someone who prints photos religiously and has an out-of-control antique postcard collection: print your photos! Your pictures are the only tangible element that lasts beyond your wedding day. I love designing heirloom wedding albums for my couples, and I always encourage keeping physical prints on hand, rather than leaving them to sit in a folder on your computer.
