An Exquisite Vineyard Wedding in the Georgia Mountains- St. Luke the Evangelist & Kaya Vineyard was photographed and submitted by Horn Photography and Design

We met this couple through the mother of the bride, who had heard of us through a friend. Most of our connections with our couples are word of mouth which we love. It is always such an honor to meet our couples that way. We set up a virtual consultation with Amber and Kraig so we could meet, hear all bout their love story + how he proposed. During their consultation, Kraig’s faith really stood out strongly and his desire to marry Amber in the church was so beautiful to see! Men who are strong in their faith are such a wonderful witness to the love Jesus has for his church.

The day began at Kaya as the ladies got ready in the cottage nestled next to the vines and the gentleman got ready in the cottage next store to them. With a high of 80 degrees, a cool soft breeze and North Georgia Mountains all around everything was beyond beautiful.

Everyone headed over to our beautiful little Catholic Church here in Dahlonega, St Luke. Amber was so radiant as she walked down the aisle with her father and Kraig got finally got a glimpse of his bride! Their Holy Sacrament of Marriage was so full of the Holy Spirit and Fr. gave a wonderful homily on the Theology of the Body which was so perfect for a wedding day. Everyone listened to each word spoken.

When it was time to party at the reception, Amber and Kraig chose to kick off the night with a huge circle toast on the mountain top over looking the vines. They welcomed their guests and invited everyone to toss red rose petals into the air to get the night started. It was one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding, a gorgeous moment on the mountain top over looking the vines and peaks. We had not seen this at a wedding before and we both agreed it was a beautiful touch!

With a gorgeous mahogany wood seating chart adorn in moss and roses guest found their seats. The tables were set with white linen, softly placed roses, lush green accents and white romantic pillar candles.

Congratulations, Amber and Kraig, united in the beautiful gift of the sacrament of marriage!
