Hi, I’m Mikaela, a Wisconsin-based photographer capturing Catholic weddings across the Midwest. My work is inspired by faith and a desire to preserve timeless, beautiful moments. My journey in photography began with my Ukrainian Greek Catholic faith, where the beauty of the Divine Liturgy, the intricate icons, rising incense, and richly colored vestments, opened my eyes to the detailed, immersive world around me. What began with photographing backyard flowers evolved through family gatherings and eventually into the medical field, where I worked as a sonographer. Each step taught me grace under pressure and a continual sense of wonder in God’s creation.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m building pillow forts with my daughters, sipping coffee with my husband, or trying my hand at sewing, candle making or gardening. As a photographer, I’m honored to serve Catholic couples with intention and care, capturing the joy and sacredness of their wedding day. None of this would be possible without prayer, humor, and the intercession of all the saints.
