Congratulations on your engagement! My name is Hannah Hettinger and I founded Milk Maid Blooms, we are an event floral company based in the beautiful rolling hills of Lancaster, Ohio. Appreciating the beauty of God’s creation through the flora and fauna has been central to my spiritual life, so using flowers to add beauty to weddings really has just been an extension of that!

As a cradle Catholic, the beauty of the marriage sacrament, and each couple as unique individuals really inspires my work and design. My goal as your florist is to help bring your vision to life, even if you haven’t fully cultivated what that is yet, we will work together to insure the beauty of your holy day is punctuated with gorgeous floral work. Also Catholic weddings are the best, because the opportunity to make bouquet for flowers JUST to give to Momma Mary? Yes please!
Sustainability and stewardship of creation is important to me, so flowers are sourced from as local as possible. There are multiple flower farms within a short drive, so supporting their small farms while creating the pieces of your dreams is a dream come true for me! I believe every bride deserves to have a fresh floral bouquet on her wedding day, which means I work with brides of all budgets and aesthetics.

When I am not working with flowers I can be found baking sourdough bread, milking my dairy goats (a lifelong hobby), and trying, unsuccessfully, to keep my two little boys and dog from tracking mud into the house.
